Improved Custom Heatsink and Additional Thermal Pad

The Swift OLED PG49WCD features a unique custom heatsink design that maximizes heat dissipation by utilizing a compact layout, allowing for a larger dedicated space for cooling.

Additionally, a thermal pad is placed on the panel to effectively cool down the monitor. The innovative back-cover design also incorporates vents at the top to effectively remove heat from the system to reduce the risk of burn-in.

Graphene Film Panel

To keep the operating temperatures down, the ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD features graphene film behind the QD-OLED panel.

Graphene is a thin yet strong nanomaterial with high thermal conductivity. This means graphene film can help effectively dissipate heat.

The Immersive Experience

The 49" ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD features a super-ultrawide QD-OLED panel with a 5120 x 1440 resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and 0.03 ms (GTG) response time. The QD-OLED panel provides deep black levels and vibrant color. The QD-OLED panel also has an improved sub-pixel layout that provide clear, detailed visuals and crisp text. The refresh rate and response time allows for smooth gameplay. The screen also has an 1800R curvature for an immersive viewing experience.

Ports and Smart KVM

This monitor features a variety of video inputs, such as HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC). The USB-C port features DisplayPort Alt Mode, data transfer, audio, and up to 90W PD. There is also a USB-A hub with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. You can even plug in headphones via the 3.5 mm audio jack.

With ROG Smart KVM, you can control two devices connected to the monitor with one keyboard and mouse. Just plug in and switch effortlessly between gaming and work on one screen.

OLED Screen Protection

Take full advantage of the ASUS Display Widget Center software, which lets you easily change monitor settings and OLED-related functions without the need to go through the OSD menu. Pixel cleaning recalibrates the screen when the monitor has been active for several hours. This process takes just a few minutes and usually activates automatically when the monitor is turned off (you should not unplug your monitor when it is pixel cleaning). Screen move slightly shifts pixel locations to help prevent burn-in. Screen saver automatically dims the screen after a period of inactivity.
