The ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI II is an ATX motherboard featuring an Intel Z790 Chipset and Intel Socket LGA1700 support for Intel Core 14th, 13th and 12th Gen Processors, Pentium Gold and Celeron Processors. It provides four DIMM slots with a maximum capacity of 192GB and supports DDR5 memory up to DDR5 8000+(OC), along with Dual Channel Memory Architecture, Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP), DIMM Flex, OptiMem II and ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile II (AEMP II). The motherboard includes a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, two PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, five M.2 slots and four SATA 6Gb/s ports. Connectivity includes Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet, Intel Wi-Fi 7 with 2x2 802.11be support, 2.4/5/6GHz frequency bands, 160MHz bandwidth and Bluetooth v5.4. It also provides rear USB connectivity with one USB 20Gbps Type-C port and eleven USB 10Gbps ports, DisplayPort, HDMI, SupremeFX 7.1 Surround Sound High Definition Audio CODEC ALC4080, and Windows 11 and Windows 10 64-bit support.
